SirMonkfish
SirMonkfish's rhythm game journey began during Christmas of 2007 when he acquired Neversoft's hit game, "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock", as a gift at the age of 10. From there, Monkfish's music taste began to revolve around each GH release. The following year, Guitar Hero released "Guitar Hero World Tour" which included a game mode called GHStudio where players could compose tracks for guitar, bass, and drums utilizing in-game instruments and effects. The game mode drew Monkfish in, wishing he could recreate some of his favorite songs.
As the years went on, he was captivated by players playing some of his favorite songs on YouTube in the form of GH3 customs and later on "Clone Hero." In the winter of 2022, Monkfish abandoned first-person shooters and rediscovered "Clone Hero," which allowed him to finally play those customs he'd seen years ago.
But that wasn't enough, Monkfish wanted specific songs to play that weren't charted for the game. He downloaded Moonscraper where he learned to chart, coming full circle to when he first played GHStudio a little over a decade ago.
Monkfish slowly gained experience through trial and error to the point where he became a verified charter in July of 2025 and a CSC charter just weeks later.
